Electron Microscopy for Materials

1. Course Description
Applications of electron microscopy in materials science, instruments and principles of imaging, kinematical theory of electron diffraction, geometrical properties of electron diffraction patterns, image contrast of microstructures, dynamical theory of electron diffraction, image contrast of crystalline defects and two phase materials.
